HRV Analysis and Aseega: alternative to stand test – SLEEP'09 Seattle Publication

PHYSIP presents a new application of Aseega technology.
In the context of non invasive heart rate variability (HRV) analysis during sleep, Aseega was assessed in terms of its ability to identify stable episodes of SWS and REM, prior to a HRV analysis.
The results suggest that HRV diagnosis is not modified by automatic sleep scoring which, as a screening aid, could provide an objective and more comfortable alternative to the stand test.
